Baby on the Way | Farrah & Kevin | Minneapolis Maternity Photography

I love love love when I can photographically check in with past clients' lives.  Farrah and Kevin booked me for their wedding reception at The Soap Factory a couple years back (and were even featured in MN Bride's Newlyweds section).  Now they're expecting!  I'm so lucky to have such wonderful clients as friends and can't wait to meet their baby girl and watch her grow - making photographs all along the way!  Here's a few favs from their in-home maternity session.

Liza's One! | Minneapolis Baby Photographer

Liza's parents opted for our New Arrival Collection - three sessions in baby's first year.  We started with Liza's newborn session at her home, then did a 4 month session at the Stone Arch Bridge, and just concluded with her one year session at the Guthrie Theater.  She was in such a good mood I got a little selfish and really worked it! :)  Mom, Dad and brother David got in on the fun too!  Here's some of my favorites from this latest shoot.  I'll post a compilation of all three session soon (hopefully sooner rather than later).  Enjoy!

Meet Baby Gino | Minnesota Baby Photography

This little guy was born on New Years Day.  I've known Gino's mama since middle school, and just a few (short) years later, Dani and Nick have become wonderful parents!  I had a beautiful (well, snow-less and peaceful) drive to Duluth, MN this weekend to meet Gino and visit his family - it was such a treat!  He is just too stinkin' cute! :)  Can't wait to watch - and document - him growing!

12.17.11 Bemidji Wedding Reception | MN Wedding Photography

Rachel and Tanner were married in Arizona and a couple months later scooted up to Rachel's hometown of Bemidji, MN for a December reception.  A dusting of snow, seasonably nice weather, warm romantic candlelight, and a cheerful woodsy country club overlooking a beautiful lake created the perfect celebration for family and friends.  It was a fun get-away and change of scenery for my second shooter and me as well!  So wonderful!  Congrats you two - you're simply wonderful! :)

Lafayette Club's Gingerbread Houses | Minnesota Event Photographer

The Lafayette Club hosted a charming holiday event last weekend. Kids and their families made gingerbread houses and wrote letters to Santa amidst holiday music and cheer. It was my first holiday festivity this year - so lovely!

Reception | Emily & Tony | Minneapolis Wedding Photography

Emily & Tony were married on the East Coast, and then held a reception at the Hotel Sofitel in Bloomington for their family in Minnesota. It was so fun shooting candids and taking some creative portrait time around the hotel, all amidst a lovely gathering and during the first snowfall of the year.
